1050 Adventure is KTM’s successor of its popular adventure motorcycle 990. It was unveiled in EICMA show in Italy and it is expected to be launched in India around June – October 2019.
The 1090 Adventure gets a minimalistic design with sporty styling. The sharp headlamp, tall windscreen, sleek character line and the semi-fairing make it aggressive. It will be powered by a 1050cc 750 V-twin engine which is expected to deliver 95bhp power and better torque. It will be equipped with KTM ride mode technology. Additional convenience will be provided by foot pegs, handlebar and windscreen all of these are adjustable. WP units in front and rear ensure better suspension. Safety is ensured with the ABS; traction control, ride-by-wire and slipper clutch would be included. KTM 1050 will also get a GPS, heated seat and grips.
It will be competing against Triumph Tiger Explorer, Kawasaki Versys 1000 and Suzuki V-Strom. 1090 Adventure will definitely possess a dominating road presence and a promising appeal and it will be capable of cruising through harsh terrain with comfort.
