MT-03 is the naked version of YZF-R3 by Yamaha and it is the fourth model in the MT range. It is available in international market and it will be launched in India during the period April and June 2019. In appearance it holds similarity with MT-25; and it gets a single piece handlebar.
MT-03 will be coming with the 321 cc liquid cooled parallel twin engine that could produce 35bhp power and 22Nm torque. The engine is mated to six speed transmission. Diamond steel frame, telescopic front suspension and mono shock in rear provide stability and smooth ride. Disc brakes are given both in front and rear and the safety is enhanced by providing ABS too.
It will take on the KTM Duke 390, Benelli TNT 300 and the Kawasaki Z250 in the Indian market. Being a compact and easy to use motorcycle it can be a favourite compared with its faired version.
