MV Agusta

In 1907 Count Giovanni Agusta founded an aeronautics company to fulfil his passion for machines. After the World War I, the aircraft industry had dramatically declined and by 1927 after the death of its founder the company entered into the motorcycle manufacturing. The first MV brand motorcycle was ‘MV98’in 1945. The avionic spirit was clearly seen in the raging racing soul of their motorcycle. The MV98 model was equipped with 5hp engine, telescopic fork suspension and sportier handling. In 1947 Agusta presented its first luxury version of the original 98. After this MV Agusta rallied through the racing tracks with different riders and it lasted till 1970. On August 1976, the fifteen time world champion rode a 500cc Agusta for his last victory in a Grand Prix. In 1992 MV Agusta made it return under new leadership. F4 750 was their first superbike for the new era. Brutale 750-1090 is MV’s fist naked, aggressive stylish bike with iconic design. In 2014 they introduced Turismo Veloce is MV’s first tourer designed for more comfortable ride and retains MV’s racing soul.

MVAgusta’s principle ‘we do not simply build motorcycles; we craft emotions’ is seen in each of their products. MV Agusta officially entered into the Indian market in May 2016 with Pune’s automobile major Kinetic Group. Its first range superbikes F4, F3 and Brutale1090 are available in India and the company operates as MV Agusta India Pvt.Ltd.
