Moto Guzzi

Moto Guzzi was established by two aircraft pilots on 15 March 1921. The company’s first motorcycle was the legendary 8hp Normale. This was followed by successful models such as the 1928 Guzzi G.T. The years following the Second World War Moto Guzzi produced the Guzzino 65, which was Europe’s best selling motorcycle for over a decade. At the end of the 1960’s Moto Guzzi presented the 900 V-twin engine that was to become the very symbol of Moto Guzzi itself. On 30 December 2004, Moto Guzzi became a part of the Piaggio Group, the European leader in the two-wheeler market and one of the world’s major manufacturers in the two-wheeler segment. In 2011, in the 90th anniversary the company introduced all new version of the Moto Guzzi California. It is powered by new 1400cc transverse 900 V-twin engine.

In India, Moto Guzzi motorcycles are officially sold through the Piaggio Group premium brand showroom called Motoplex. Before the presentation at the EICMA motor show in Milan in 2012 the new California 1400 captured wide admiration from around the world. Refined style, cutting-edge technology and exceptional dynamic features characterise the Moto Guzzi motorcycles. Audace, California, Eldorado, MGX-21, V9 Bobber and V9 Roamer are the Moto Guzzi models in the Indian market.
