It seems like Tata motors is raring to regain its lost position as one of the top player in the small car segment with its new entry level hatchback model. The launch of this car, codenamed Kite or XO or Dolphin, is expected to happen in mid 2015. Tata is all set to take the competition in the entry level segment head on. This segment is currently ruled by Maruti Alto, Datsun Go, Hyundai i10 and Eon, Honda Brio etc...
It is rumoured that Kite which will run on the Tata Indica Vista platform, will eventually replace Indica model. The car which will come with a tallboy design
