The Hyundai Veloster is a three door coupe cum hatchback which has already proved to be quite popular in the international market. The South Korean car manufacturer unveiled this model for the Indian buyers at the auto expo of 2012 and the car is expected to appear in the market by late 2014 or early 2015. It has been priced around Rs 10 lacs. With this car, Hyundai aims to move beyond the mass appeal and look for the sporty and sophisticated urban market. The car will compete with models like the Skoda Octavia, Volkswagen Jetta, Chevrolet Cruz and the Honda Civic.
