Renault – the reputed French automobile manufacturer has recently made its presence felt in India with a number of cars across various segments. It is now all set to enter the MPV segment with its latest offering – the Dokker. The name is an abbreviation of dock worker and denotes the high carrying capacity of the vehicle. The car has been launched in the international market in 2012 and is likely to appear in India by the middle of 2016. It will be priced around Rs 8 lacs.
Renault Dokker Variants
The Dokker was presented after the merging of the French company Renault with the Romanian automobile manufacturer Dacia and was christened the Renault Dacia Dokker. This sturdy yet sophisticated vehicle has already appeared in the markets of Morocco and Romania in 2012. It is expected to perform quite well in the Indian market in its segment.
