Toyota Vios • Price, Variants & Specifications
The Toyota Vios is the latest model presented by Toyota and it is supposed to reflect the presence of this company in the C+ sedan segment. The Vios occupies the slot below the Corolla and is in direct competition to the Honda City. The car is especially designed for the Southeast Asian market and is expected to be priced between Rs 8 lacs to Rs 12 lacs. In addition to the Honda City, the Vios will compete with Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento, Hyundai Verna and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. It is expected to be launched in India by February 2015.

The Toyota Vios has already been launched in Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines. It has served as a benchmark car in the subcompact sedan section for more than a decade and remains one of the most popular cars. With this track record, the car is expected to perform well in the Indian market.
