Maserati has launched its Levante, its luxury sports SUV which is available in only one engine option, a 3 litre V6 turbo diesel engine. Levante is the force of nature, it is named after world’s famous wind that blows across the Mediterranean and can change from benign calm to gale force in an instant. Lenvante has the powerful force that provides excellent comfort too. It can reach 0 to 100 in 5.2 seconds. It is available in two variants; Levante GranLusso and Levante GranSport. In GranLusso style is focused on luxury and GranSport provides driving dynamics. The V6 petrol engine cars are made elegant with paint choices, trims, alloy wheels and new LED adaptive matrix headlights. Maserati begins a new journey with its SUVs.

Exterior

We get the real Maserati in Levante, aggressively sculpted front grille with chromed bars give it an elevated SUV proportion. The muscular arching front wings bear the iconic triple air vents. Coupe like rear section with frameless door windows, subtle spoiler and quad tail pipes give it unique SUV stance. Full LED adaptive matrix headlights with anti-glare high beam assist offer distinctive style and additional safety and convenience. GranLusso has protection plates beneath the front bumper and roof rails to make it sportier.

Interior

The elegant Italian style is combined with meticulously crafted finishes to inspire long distant journeys luxurious and comfortable. Leather seats, hand stitched leather on the dashboard side panels and the wood or Black Piano trims on other surfaces give it an elegant look in the interior too. The infotainment system comes with rotary controller. Abundant storage space, flexible 60:40 folding rear seat make your journey comfortable. The instrument cluster with 7”TFT display provides all vehicle information. The 8.4” Maserati Touch Control Plus (MTC+) placed at the centre of the dashboard controls the front seat heating as well as ventilation, steering wheel heating and the operation of rear sunblinds.

Comfort And Convenience

Front seats with 12 way power adjustability and memory function, advanced navigation system, front and rear parking sensors, illuminated door sills are given for the comfort of its occupants. The state of the art system features both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in addition Apple Siri for iPhone users as voice command. Additional convenience is given with USB sockets, AUX and SD card reader. Harmon Kardon Premium Sound System comes as optional.

Safety

Maserati provides world class safety and peace of mind. Six airbags, Maserati stability program with sensors to constantly monitor driving status, integrated vehicle control, seat belt pre-tensioners, ISOFIX child seat fasteners, lane keep assist, highway assist system, traffic sign recognition, forward collision warning, active blind spot assist, surround view camera and hill descent control are included for an enhanced safety.

Specification

The 2979 cc V6 600 petrol engine produces maximum power of 257kW at 5750rpm and maximum torque of 500Nm at 4750rpm. It is mated to the sophisticated eight speed ZF automatic gear box which ensures faster gear shifting and better fuel consumption. Five driving modes; Auto Normal, Auto Sport, Manual Sport, Auto Off-road and I.C.E (Increased comfort and efficiency) for use in icy or low grip conditions, are given. Active air suspension ensures stability and comfort in Levante.
