Features
Ferrari replaces California T with its new Portofino which is powered by 3.9 litre twin turbo V8 petrol engine. It is the perfect combination of performance and versatility in addition to excellent driving pleasure. The outstanding acceleration that reaches 0 to 100kmph in just 3.5 seconds, retractable hard top and roomy boot, generous cockpit and two rear seats make it a perfect car to “live life to the fullest”. Innovative design, electric power steering, third generation electronic differential and the latest evolution of the electronic suspension control system integrated with premium ESP make it a premium car. Portofino is Ferrari’s versatile model that is designed to be driven every day that can be converted from a coupe to a drop top.
Exterior
Portofino is an aggressively designed car with a retractable hard top that adds an extra sleekness to its silhouette. The large radiator grille in the front fascia stretches from edge to edge is made beautiful with new full LED headlights that is assembled horizontally. The outside edge of the headlight hides an innovative air intake which vents into the front wheel arch. The tail lights are placed further apart to enhance the sporty aspect. The rear space conceals the new RHT (retractable hard top) which features a new lightweight design that it can be raised or lowered at low speeds in just 14 seconds. The RHT housing allows holding two cabin trolleys with the roof down and three with the roof up.
Interior
New seats are given after long researches in order to provide optimum relaxation on long journeys. It has an innovative magnesium structure, different density padding and an ultra-compact set back profile to provide excellent comfort. The seat height, angles, side cushions and the central and lumbar regions can be adjusted in different ways. Comfort buttons on the side of the front seats brings up the infotainment display. Comfortable rear seats can accommodate two more passengers.
Comfort And Convenience
An array of new features guarantees on board comfort. The 10.2”touchscreen display, a new air conditioning system that improves occupant comfort both which the top up or down, a new steering wheel, 18way electrically adjustable seats with new backrest design that improves leg room for rear seat passengers, and the passenger display are given for the comfort and convenience of its passengers. The redesigned driver cockpit brings all the vehicle information; the steering is now more compact and the instrument cluster placed behind the steering is easier to visible through the upper part of the steering wheel. The passenger too gets an optional display that is directly linked to the main screen, and it provides all information relating to car speed rpm and gear indicator.
Safety
The third generation electronic rear differential (E-Diff3) is integrated with the F1-Trac to improve both mechanical grip and the control of the car on the limit. Electronic Power Steering allows reducing the steering ratio. Standard safety features like ABS with EBD and BA, parking sensors, speed sensing auto door lock, driver airbag, passenger air bag, front and rear side airbags, vehicle stability control and crash sensor are included.
